Auroz Inspires Home Working Revolution
Fast-growing UC distributor Auroz is helping inspire a home working revolution, as the country continues to battle the Covid-19 crisis.
Demand for collaboration products such as headsets and conferencing devices has rocketed by as much as 600% in recent months, ensuring office-based workers can operate more flexibly and just as effectively from home.
Managing Director, Jason North, says work has become ‘something you do, not where you go’. He believes there are many more opportunities for resellers and systems integrators to exceed their own customers’ expectations, based on high quality technologies from brands such as EPOS I Sennheiser and Audiocodes. He also questions if the old ways of working will ever return as before.
Auroz is also enjoying lots of success with ISDN gateways that help keep legacy phone systems operating, especially in the healthcare and government sectors, where more SIP-based alternatives are having to be deployed.
“The Covid crisis has been a terrible experience for so many people and our thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected,” said Jason. “Here at Auroz we are playing a frontline role in helping businesses adapt to very challenging times. The last three months have been extremely busy and we continue to work hard with our growing army of resellers to ensure companies big and small can take advantage of the latest technologies – to not just survive but thrive during these difficult days – and keep the country’s economy moving forward.”
He added: “There’s still people beginning to work from home. Many employers are sending staff home because they have to rather than because they want to. But there are many advantages of working from home such as increased productivity, flexibility and a greater work/life balance. I think more people are beginning to realise modern technology enables them to work just as effectively outside their traditional office environments. In today’s changing world, they can work from almost anywhere and more and more people are embracing this ethos.”
Sales and Marketing Manager, Ryan St John, highlighted how reseller upgrade opportunities are becoming more prevalent.
“I think at the start some businesses weren’t fully prepared for the mass migration home and perhaps some of the equipment they bought wasn’t quite suitable and didn’t provide an optimal user experience. Cabled headsets are much more restrictive that wire-free alternatives for example. Brands such as EPOS from Auroz deliver enriched audio performance, whilst Teams certified devices from across our range work seamlessly with modern UC platforms.”
He concluded: “Through our reseller partners we’re helping accelerate home working trends, ensuring organisations develop their own working practices so that if there is a second Covid wave, they are much better prepared.”
