Auroz Hails Teams Tonic
Supply specialist Auroz is hailing the arrival of a new range of Teams handsets from AudioCodes this year, which are set to pour even more fuel onto the fires of Microsoft UC adoption.
Auroz witnessed a significant increase in Teams-based device demand in 2020, accelerated by more flexible hybrid working trends due in part to the Covid pandemic. It expects even more growth this year, inspired by new products developments such as the latest handsets and video technologies from AudioCodes.
Auroz is welcoming the arrival of the AudioCodes C435HD IP phone, the first in a new range of enhanced devices which is expected to be available in the first quarter of this year.
This low-cost, Teams-native entry level/common area phone is designed to support the next generation of enterprise collaboration technologies. It features HD voice quality, a colour screen with multi-lingual support, dedicated Teams button, calendar and click-to-join support plus USB headset functionality.
“The imminent arrival of the cost effective C435HD puts the power of Microsoft Teams into the hands of even more end users due to its low cost of entry and high performance capabilities,” says Auroz Sales and Marketing Manager Ryan St John.
“We’ve had lots of reseller interest and enquiries already and we expect high demand for this handset, as well as all Teams-based technologies across our growing range.”
The AudioCodes IP phone series benefits from superior voice quality, full duplex speaker phone performance, robust security mechanisms, PoE or external power supply and centralized management supported by AudioCodes Device Manager (available for download free of charge).
The AudioCodes C470HD IP phone for example is a native Teams high-end ‘total touch’ business phone with an impressive colour touch screen and full UC integration. Another new member of the AudioCodes 400HD IP phone series, the C470HD is equipped with a large, single surface, full touch interface, incorporating an exceptionally sharp 5.5” display, with optional support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB headset capabilities.
St John says UC growth was ‘phenomenal’ for Auroz last year and he expects sales to further accelerate throughout 2021.
“Demand was growing significantly even before the pandemic. Whilst Covid was the catalyst for much more flexible working, the genie is out of the bottle and there’s no going back. Hybrid working is the future with some time spent in offices and other days at home. Technology is at the heat of a new revolution.”
He thinks many resellers are enthusiastically embracing more market choice, with Israeli-based AudioCodes providing a compelling alternative to rival brands.
“There’s no doubt resellers are looking at extending their product portfolios with more diversity and choice. Brands such as AudioCodes are accelerating this change in mindset. Many of our customers are realising they don’t need all their eggs in one brand basket.”
He also highlighted how AudioCodes is enabling resellers to take a ‘bigger piece of the management pie’ by providing complete, seamless and streamlined solutions, comprising Session Border Controllers and Direct Routing with dedicated end point hardware.
Further product developments such as video camera and speakerphone bundles, will help AudioCodes penetrate deeper into the Australian market, St John adds.
